Black Crows simplified its HR processes and strengthened compliance in Switzerland
How Black Crows cut its administrative HR workload by half
Premium winter sports brand | France, Switzerland, USA
Black Crows operates in France, Switzerland, and the United States and needed to structure its HR processes to keep pace with the company’s growth while ensuring strict compliance with local regulations, especially in Switzerland. The goal was to reduce administrative workload and free up more time for employees and their development.
We estimate that we have reduced the time spent on administrative tasks by around 50%, giving our HR teams more room to focus on what really matters: supporting, training, and retaining our employees.
Chloé Minié, Global Chief Human Resources Officer
The need
When Chloé Minié joined Black Crows, it was essential to implement Swiss working time rules in a way that was both legally compliant and easy to use. At the same time, the transition needed to remain simple for employees in French- and German-speaking Switzerland. Black Crows was looking for a solution that would ensure compliance, centralize HR processes, and reduce administrative burden.
The solution
Since 2022, Black Crows has been using Lucca’s solutions, especially in Switzerland.
The time management module ensures compliance with SECO requirements and enables systematic, simplified, or activity-based time tracking, including overtime and legal working time limits.
With Core HR, all employee data is centrally managed from entry to exit. Onboarding, offboarding, and automatic document generation with integrated e-signature further streamline the process.
Lucca’s Swiss team supported Black Crows in understanding, configuring, and implementing local requirements, as well as adapting processes to each country.
The result
Black Crows has reduced its administrative HR workload by around 50%. Processes are now more transparent, efficient, and easier for employees to use. The HR team can now focus more on higher-value topics such as development, training, and employee retention.
