Fondation Saphir transformed its multisite HR management and freed up time for its teams

Health and social care sector
Core HR, Recruitment, Performance, Training

Fondation Saphir supports vulnerable people throughout their life journey across 21 facilities in French-speaking Switzerland. From nursing homes and reception centers to home care services, the organization manages nearly 700 professionals across a decentralized network.

Like many multisite organizations, Fondation Saphir was facing major HR challenges. Talent shortages, high turnover, and frequent changes meant that HR management was consuming a great deal of time on repetitive administrative tasks. Disparate tools (Word contracts, Excel files for employee changes) and multiple data entries made collaboration between facilities complex and compliance difficult to ensure.

Thanks to Lucca, we have significantly reduced the administrative burden linked to arrivals, transfers, and departures. The time we have freed up now allows us to refocus on our core mission: supporting employees with greater availability and quality.

The need

Fondation Saphir was looking for an HR platform that could centralize information, harmonize practices across sites while preserving flexibility, and streamline employee support in a decentralized environment. It also wanted to ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements without overburdening its teams.

The solution

Since 2024, Fondation Saphir has been rolling out Lucca Core HR alongside its existing tools for time management and scheduling. A single platform accessible in real time across all sites has replaced multiple data entries. Automatic contract generation, certified e-signature in Switzerland, and personalized alerts for deadline tracking have made administrative tasks simple and compliant.

The HR teams quickly adopted a configurable solution that required no heavy development and could be adapted to each facility. The Training module makes it possible to manage skills and learning paths. Dashboards track key KPIs such as turnover, absences, and transfers in real time, providing a shared view for HR and managers.

The result: HR management is now a true driver of efficiency, freeing up time to support talent and anticipate future challenges.
